Four things Oasis fans must know before today's 2027 tour announcement

The Oasis 2027 tour is just hours away from being announced and fans are in a frenzy awaiting more details on how they can nab tickets.

Liam and Noel Gallagher teased a major tour announcement last week, using a huge drone display that lit up Manchester’s Etihad Stadium to reveal that information will drop on Monday, September 14 at 4pm BST.

Fresh off the success of their Live ‘25 reunion tour , the iconic Britpop rockers have been teasing shows at different cities or venues , including Glasgow, Manchester, Knebworth, Amsterdam, Munich, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome and Boston.

While tickets could technically go on sale at 4pm, music industry sources have reported that they will likely drop by the end of next week - sparking what looks set to be a major scramble at Ticketmaster and other ticketing platforms.

Fans will remember the chaos of trying to buy tickets for the Live ‘25 tour, with more than 10 million people from 158 countries queuing online at peak times on ticketing sites.

Many fans left the virtual queue empty handed, with only about 1.4 million to 2.2 million tickets available across the UK and Ireland tour dates.

Oasis fans are eagerly anticipating a tour announcement later PA Wire Demand drove up prices and and tickets - which started at £73 for basic seats and £135 for general admission standing - surged drastically, with resale rates hitting £350.

Following an investigation, Ticketmaster is now required to tell fans 24 hours in advance if a tiered pricing system will be used for a sale, and must give information about ticket prices throughout online queues.

There will also be real-time updates to notify fans during the queue when cheaper tickets sell out.

Ahead of potential pre-sales and general sales, we’ve put together some tips on how to navigate buying tickets.

Pre-sale tickets are available to buy before tickets are released to the general public and are a chance for Wonderwall superfans to get ahead of the curve.

It’s a good idea to sign up to Oasis’ mailing list, as last time they did a ballot for presale, which came a day earlier than general sale.

Fans can also sometimes get pre-sale access through providers like 02 and Three UK, but this seems less likely with Oasis tickets.
