Lewis banned for two matches for dangerous contact

Hull KR's Mikey Lewis has been banned for two matches for dangerous contact with Warrington Wolves' Ewan Irwin during their rearranged round two Super League clash on Tuesday night.

Lewis was sent to the sin bin when his studs hit Irwin's ankle as he sent up a kick, and he has now been given a Grade C charge.

The ban will take effect from Round 25 which means he can play against Toulouse on Saturday August 22 but then will miss clashes with Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants.
