Glastonbury 2027: coach tickets oversold in admin error

Coach tickets to Glastonbury 2027 have been oversold due to an admin error from the festival’s ticketing partner.

For the first time in Glastonbury’s history, prices have surpassed the £400 mark for each ticket – with general admission tickets costing £408 each, including a £5 booking fee.

The first wave of tickets went live at 6pm BST on October 1, and saw countless fans eagerly joining the long virtual queue to try and nab theirs.

Coach tickets sold out in under 30 minutes , and general admission tickets sold out in under 45 minutes when they went live shortly afterwards.

Now, however, it has been confirmed that due to an administrative error from Glasto’s official ticketing partner, more tickets were sold for the coach package than there were seats available.

For those who are affected and want to keep their coach seat, they have until October 31 to make it clear that they are opting in for a coach ticket and do not want to be swapped to a general admission ticket.

Some, however, may welcome the change as it allows them more flexibility with how they arrive at the festival, and could let them show up via train or car, rather than exclusively via coach.

See Tickets has confirmed that the error will not have an impact on their festival deposits, and ticketholders can continue to pay the remaining balance for tickets in April, as usual.

Fans who missed out today will have another opportunity when unwanted tickets and those for which the remaining balance has not been paid are offered in the spring 2027 resale.

No acts have yet been officially announced for Glastonbury 2027, although organiser Emily Eavis confirmed in August that all three Pyramid Stage headliners have already been booked .
