Missing schoolgirl Lillia spotted at Manchester bus station as police issue fresh CCTV appeal

Police have revealed a new confirmed sighting of a 13-year-old schoolgirl who vanished in Bolton last week.

Lillia was last seen leaving her family home in Bolton last Friday, but was later spotted at 11pm in Manchester's Piccadilly Gardens before boarding a bus at the Trafford Centre at 1.50pm on Saturday.

In a statement issued this morning, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said new CCTV images showed the teenager at Manchester Piccadilly bus station at 10.36am on Monday, September 14.

The sighing followed a previous one earlier that morning when Lillia was seen boarding the number 36 bus from Salford, the force said.

"We are continuing our efforts to find missing Lillia who has now been missing for just over a week, since leaving her family home in Bolton on Friday 11 September 2026," GMP said in a statement issued this morning.

The force said officers have trawled through hours of CCTV footage, handed hundreds of missing leaflets out and are exploring every line of enquiry to ensure Lillia is found.

"As the investigation continues at pace, officers from our dedicated CCTV unit have identified a further sighting of Lillia captured on CCTV, showing her at Manchester Piccadilly bus station at 10.36am on Monday 14 September 2026," police said.
