Lidl £25 item with 'adjustable design' looks like high-end £156 and £386 options

Shoppers looking to brighten up their homes may be interested in a new lamp launching across all Lidl stores next week. The supermarket brand, which has roughly 1,000 locations across the UK, claims it boasts a "modern design" with "gentle, glare-free lighting".

The LIVARNO Black Curved LED Floor Lamp , priced at £24.99, releases on Sunday, September 27. It will be for collection only, so anyone hoping to arrange home delivery will be disappointed.

To avoid a wasted trip on release day and beyond, customers are advised to check stock levels at their nearest Lidl branch via the online store finder. All you have to do is enter your postcode, and a list of your local stores will appear alongside indicators as to whether the lamp can be found in its iconic 'Middle of Lidl' aisle.

Unlike more traditional lamps, which have a fixed base and are strictly vertical, this one in particular is curved which gives it a eccentrically modern aesthetic. It is also incredibly thin and compact, so you should be able to find a place for it in your bedroom, dining room or other living spaces.

To find out more, you can visit the Lidl website . It also bears a striking resemblance to near-identical alternatives available elsewhere.

Cherish Lewis is stocking the Arc Floor Lamp for £78.19, down from £156.38. Meanwhile, Amazon has the LED Corner Light Arc for £386.41.

Both units have the similar curved look of the Lidl light, with Cherish Lewis explaining its product has "three colour temperatures" as well as a "remote control", ideal for "bedroom, living room, office and study".

Amazon added: "Modern and simple design, beautiful and unique, convenient and practical, so that the atmosphere has a different exquisite taste, it is also a good-looking decoration without turning on the light, to meet your decorative lighting needs. LED energy-saving light source, uniform light, highly translucent acrylic lampshade, good light transmission, bright and soft, mild and not harsh."

The crystal wall lamp is made of metal. It adds: "It can be used as a decoration compatible with living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, office, etc. This chandelier is designed with high quality handmade design, which makes the chandelier shine and sparkle, which is even more stunning than the pictures."

The product description continues: "Simply wipe with a damp cloth when cleaning and the slim design allows you to effortlessly prevent stains."
