Rockstar Games have given fans an in-depth look at main protagonists Lucia and Jason, as well as a range of supporting characters, but they’re yet to confirm which actors are behind the roles.
However over the weekend, Stephen Root was asked about his involvement in Grand Theft Auto 6 during a red carpet appearance.
“Yeah, you’re going to see me in it,” he told AP News .
“It’s coming out November 19, that’s the latest [news] I know of.

Root plays Brian Heder in Grand Theft Auto 6 .
The character was first revealed during Trailer 2, which launched May 2025, and fans have been speculating about his involvement ever since.
“Brian’s a classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys,” reads a description from Rockstar Games.
“Still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, Brian’s been around long enough to let others do his dirty work.
Brian’s letting Jason live rent-free at one of his properties — so long as he helps with local shakedowns, and stops by for Lori’s sangria once in a while.” Grand Theft Auto fans believe the voice actor for co-protagonist Lucia is Puerto Rican actor Manni L Perez.
