Liam Gallagher says Pretty Green was “stolen” from him by “vultures”

Liam Gallagher has claimed that his Pretty Green clothing brand was “stolen” from him by “vultures”.

He responded to an X user yesterday (August 15) who asked him why he sold the brand, writing: “I didn’t sell it it was stolen from me by vultures who wouldn’t know how to dress a fucking salad let alone the youth.” Gallagher did not spell out who he was referring to as “vultures”.

Pretty Green was bought by JD Sports after falling into administration in 2019 , with the sale being handled by administrators.

The company had been impacted by the collapse of House Of Fraser the previous year, and it was later sold to Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group as part of a £47.5million collection of fashion brands in 2022 (via The Guardian ).

The collection includes replicas of Liam’s distinctive Umbro zip-up jacket and Noel’s knitted jumper from the 1996 shows.

After the enormous ‘Live ’25’ reunion tour last year , speculation continues to swirl about the possibility of more live performances from the band.

They are reportedly considering a major UK and European tour next year , potentially including a Manchester residency and a return to Knebworth.

Earlier this month, the promoter behind ‘Live ’25’ was granted a licence to hold concerts at the Hertfordshire estate , although nothing has yet been confirmed.
