“Mick Gordon is the composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and acclaimed sound designer who turned Doom ‘s soundtrack into one of the most instantly recognisable pieces of gaming music ever produced,” explained a press release.

“At Radar 2027, Mick will bring the Doom soundtrack to the stage for the first time, featuring the Doom Machine (his custom Doom instrument), with a full live band and an orchestra for good measure.” “This isn’t a DJ set, and it isn’t a tribute act.

It’s the actual composer, the actual score – the riffs played properly loud in a room that can withstand all the ripping and tearing.

Mick has never performed this music live like this [before].” RADAR Festival takes place July 30 – August 1, 2027 and tickets are on sale now .

In other news, the team behind metal strategy game Brutal Legend made the game free-to-download following the death of Tim Curry , who played Emperor Doviculus in the metal action game.
