Wembley Stadium is in the running to host the 2028 or 2028 Champions League final. UEFA bosses and stakeholders will be gathering today in Greece to decide if the most glamorous match in club football is heading back to London.

Three Champions League finals have taken place beneath the Wembley arch, the 2011, 2013 and 2024 finals won by Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid respectively. But the national stadium could play host to the final again.

The UEFA Executive Committee will gather in Thessaloniki to discuss the host venue, as well as other important matters in European and world football. Mirror Football will be here for any and all update on the meeting.
