Sauron Finally Puts on the One Ring in ‘Rings of Power’ Season 3 Official Trailer

Sauron claims the One Ring in the new action-stuffed official trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season three.

The footage shows Galadriel (Morfydd Clark), Elrond (Robert Aramayo) and Gandalf (Daniel Weyman) rallying the forces of Middle-earth amid battles and romance as Sauron (Charlie Vickers) unleashes his forces.

From the official description: “Jumping forward several years from the events of season two, season three takes place at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to craft the One Ring that will give him the edge he needs to win the war, bind all peoples to his will – and at last rule all Middle-earth.”

The third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere on Prime Video on Nov. 11.

The series is produced by showrunners and executive producers J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay.

Payne previously told Empire magazine, “We have a full-on villain this season, in a way that was quite different before,” with McKay adding “this third season is darker, more dangerous … No one is safe.”

They are joined by executive producers Lindsey Weber, Justin Doble, Kate Hazell and executive producer-director Charlotte Brandstrom. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
