Miranda Lambert to Headline Opening Night Concert at New Nashville Venue The Truth
As Miranda Lambert gears up to celebrate the release of her new album Crisco , which drops Oct.
2 on MCA, the three-time Grammy winner will welcome fans to celebrate with a special concert, Miranda Lambert: One Night Only, in Nashville.
On Oct.
1, Lambert will headline the opening night of new Nashville music venue The Truth.
She’ll be backed by a 12-piece string section as she highlights past hits and new songs from Crisco .
Ahead of its release, Lambert teased the album by sharing “Sunset Marquis,” “Til The Going’s Gone” and the Chris Stapleton collaboration “A Song To Sing” “It was magical to hear the way strings can transform a song when we were in the studio creating this record, and I can’t wait to bring that to life in an even bigger way with our full setlist,” Lambert said in a statement.
“We’ve never gotten to play that way on stage, and to have the opportunity to do it for the first time at the opening of a beautiful new venue right here in Nashville is going to be really special.” The Live Nation venue, located in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, is a 4,400-capacity, multiuse venue.
The venue includes a whiskey bar named after famed songwriter Harlan Howard (the venue also takes its name from a famous quote from Howard, who described country music as “three chords and the truth”).
The venue also houses a 300-capacity listening lounge, Vinyl Room, that can be used for listening sessions and other events.
The tickets for Miranda Lambert: One Night Only will go on sale starting Aug.
21 at 10 a.m. at thetruthnashville.com.
