Deadline reports Tara Reid ( Josie and the Pussycats ) and Johnny Pemberton ( Fallout ) are attached to star in Scissor Mouth , “a contemporary Southern Gothic horror inspired by an ancient Japanese folktale” from director Deborah Richards. Set in the early 1980s, the story follows “a teenage girl who escapes years of captivity at the hands of her beauty-obsessed mother, leaving a bloody trail of ‘makeovers’ across rural West Texas.”
According to Deadline , Chelsea Tavares, Joel McKinnon Miller, Carson Fagerbakke, Augusta Liv, Gillian Nation, and Joe Massingill are attached to star in Tap Twice , a “supernatural horror film” from director Andrew Bachelor in which “a grieving couple retreats to an isolated estate where the walls record every word — and a presence learns to speak in their voices.”
