Created for readers ages 4 to 8 (though really a fun read for fans of all ages), the picture book details Carpenter’s life as a young girl with big dreams before embarking on a Disney Channel career that would eventually catapult her to pop-star heights.

Illustrator Beverly Johnson sketches colorful drawings of major milestones in Carpenter’s life, like a graphic of the Emails I Can’t Send album cover, the singer looking up at her sold-out arena, and the pop star standing on stage during her Grammy acceptance speech .
