If you’re going to wager on the games, it makes a lot of sense to focus on the quarterbacks for each game.

Let’s take a look at who will be under center for the teams in these two major matchups.

Texas has the most famous quarterback in college football, or at least the one with the most famous last name.

Arch Manning came to Texas as one of the most hyped prospects in the past decade.

He hasn’t always looked elite, but he is still expected to be a top selection in the upcoming draft.

He is 73-for-115 for 862 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Oklahoma is once again with John Mateer.

This is his second year with Oklahoma after three years at Washington State.

This is just his third year as a starter, and last year was a bit rough.

This season he is 72-for-109 with 883 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions.

Last year against Texas, he had 202 yards and three interceptions.

Gunner Stockton has been one of the better quarterbacks in the nation through his first five games of the season.
