Houston Cougars vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders Friday night preview and over 53.5 prediction
One of my favorite things about college football as the season goes on is that we get it on multiple days.
Right now, it is pretty much only on Friday and Saturday.
However, as the season gets further into it, we see games on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and the NFL fills in the rest.
I’m excited to see what happens tonight, as there is a Friday game between two top teams as Houston takes on Texas Tech.
The Houston Cougars come into tonight’s contest with a 2-0 record and a ranking of 22nd in the nation.
They are one of those teams that are good, but probably not quite good enough to make the college football playoffs.
My guess is that they end up with some sort of solid Bowl Game .
Before they get there, they have a long way to go.
The team has had two games so far, with the first against Oregon State, which is a decent but not great team.
Last week’s game was against the Southern Jaguars.
Houston has been impressive on the gridiron offensively.
Their quarterback, Conner Weigman, has looked great in his first couple of games, throwing for 425 yards and four touchdowns.
He does have one interception.
They also have gotten quite a bit of production from their two primary running backs, Makhi Hughes and Reshaun Sanford.
