To unlock the maximum $1,200 savings, you will need to trade in a qualifying smartphone with a minimum trade-in value of $230, activate or maintain your line on an eligible unlimited plan, and purchase the phone on a 36-month installment agreement.

Getting $1,200 off Apple's $1,999 flagship foldable brings your monthly cost down from $55.56/month to just $22.23/month.

You are still required to pay state sales tax on the phone's full retail value upfront, plus AT&T's standard $35 device connection fee.

The $1,200 discount is distributed as 36 monthly bill credits.

If you cancel your plan, downgrade to an ineligible tier, or switch carriers before the three years are up, the remaining balance becomes due immediately.
