Two of Dolly Parton ‘s most beloved movies are heading back to the big screen following the country music icon’s death on Tuesday.
Beginning on Friday, Aug. 28, AMC Theatres will offer special presentations of “ Steel Magnolias ” and “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” in approximately 200 locations across the U.S., including Parton’s home state of Tennessee. Participating theatres will offer two matinee screenings daily — including one showing of each title — at AMC Fan Faves value pricing.
