Olivia Rodrigo is loving Ariana Grande ‘s recent album petal so much, you might just hear her cover one of the songs from the project someday.

25) ahead of her Daisy Chain Fields festival, Rodrigo gushed about Sienna Spiro and Role Model’s recent covers of her music before answering a question about whether there was a song by another artist she’d like to put her own spin on soon.

“I’ve been listening to Ariana’s album a lot, so maybe something from Ariana’s album,” the former Disney star said.

“It’s so exciting to have people cover your songs,” Rodrigo also told the publication.

“It’s like the coolest thing ever.

Role Model covered ‘maggots for brains,’ and Sienna Spiro covered my song ‘less’ the other day.

It was just so much fun, and it’s so flattering because I think both of them are incredible artists, and to get to see their take on the song is really special.” Both Spiro and Role Model shared their takes on Rodrigo songs for the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, where Rodrigo herself has previously delivered covers of Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” and CMAT’s “When a Good Man Cries.” Grande’s music has made for some memorable Live Lounge performances over the years, from Hozier performing “Problem” in 2015 to The 1975 covering “Thank U, Next” in 2018 and Gracie Abrams singing “We Can’t Be Friends” earlier this year.

It’s only been about a month since petal dropped in late July, debuting at No.
