Kia, Hyundai face $1 billion in lawsuits over easy-to-steal cars after 9th Circuit ruling

Insurers can sue Korean automakers Kia and Hyundai for payouts on theft-prone car models, the appellate court ruled.

Such thefts are likely to plague the state into the 2040s, a new UCLA study showed.
