5 jewelry trends that are in right now and 4 that are out, according to jewelers and stylists

Jewelers and stylists spoke to Business Insider about the best and worst jewelry for this coming fall season.

They said statement pendant necklaces and chunky pearls will be popular this season.

Meanwhile, dainty rings and rose-gold pieces are being replaced by bolder, more textured pieces.

JesseRay Vasquez, jewelry designer and the founder of the brand Nickho Rey , also said statement rings are an especially strong trend for men right now.

"I've never had this much of an interest from guys," Vasquez told BI.

Color is showing up more.
