Christa Pike is ‘Angry and Confused’ After Failed Execution

Death row inmate Christa Pike’s attorneys are shedding new light on her ongoing health struggles following the failed execution.

“She has pneumonia.

She is not able to swallow yet, so she has not eaten,” her attorney said, adding about her mental state, “She is angry and confused about everything right now.” Meanwhile, her legal team is renewing calls for the governor to commute her death sentence.
