A New York City firefighter called out a pro-Palestinian agitator wearing an Elmo costume with a Palestinian flag as "anti-American" on Friday, not far from where the city’s 9/11 memorial ceremony was taking place at Ground Zero, according to video shot by Turning Point USA ( TPUSA ) and posted to X.
"F-----g anti-American motherf----r. Go back to f-----g Palestine. We don’t want you here," the man yelled at the protester. It was unclear if he was a current or retired firefighter.
The man told the protester to also take former President Barack Obama, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Gov. Kathy Hochul and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with them.
