Social media has a field day with Texas A&M player for looking like a 36-year-old construction worker

Offseason transformations are one of the coolest parts about college football .

It's simply amazing to see what six to eight months in a Division I strength and conditioning program can do for a group of young men, especially considering that, for the majority of them, this is the first time they've seriously thrown some weight around in their lives.

High school gym does not prepare you for 5 a.m. lifts with an SEC strength coach, and it shows with how different these kids look between their freshman and sophomore years.

OKLAHOMA SOONERS QUARTERBACK JOHN MATEER LOOKS ABSOLUTELY JACKED JUST IN TIME FOR FALL CAMP One player who has seen plenty of gains since entering a college weight room is Texas A&M defensive end Anto Saka, and he expressed his gratitude to Aggies strength coach Tommy Moffitt during an interview on Wednesday.

I'm not sure what Moffitt and the Aggies are putting in their post-workout protein shakes, though, because Saka's mature looks caught the eye of the entire internet earlier this week.

You're trying to tell me that's a college kid? Because he looks like a 36-year-old construction worker with two kids and a mortgage.

I know redshirt rules have gotten a little out of hand in college sports recently, but there's no way this 30-something union worker has any eligibility left to play football .

I looked it up, and apparently Saka is a 22-year-old college senior.

Sure, Jan.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL COACHES ON HOT SEAT: BILL BELICHICK, MIKE NORVELL AND OTHERS FACING MAKE-OR-BREAK 2026 He was allegedly born in 2002, which means Saka wasn't even alive when the Twin Towers fell, yet he looks old enough to have worked there.

I'm 33 years old, and if I ever interviewed this kid, I'm pretty sure I'd call him "sir." Social media had an absolute field day with Saka, dropping memes left and right poking fun at the world's oldest looking guy who can't legally rent a car yet.

If Hollywood were to cast this young man to portray a college student in a movie, we would all collectively complain about how they never get actors to play characters their age.

He's like a real-life Luke Perry in "90210." Anyway, congrats on the big gains in the weight room, Anto! Just remember to stretch for ten minutes before every lift.

A guy your age could really mess his back up throwing weight around like that.
