Don Jr.’s Ex Faces the Axe as Trump’s Private Fury Leaks

Louisa Gouliamaki / REUTERS Kimberly Guilfoyle may be on the outs after allegations of her misconduct have seemingly drawn the ire of President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

A senior U.S. official told the Associated Press on Sunday that Trump and Rubio are “extremely p---ed off” by the U.S.

Ambassador to Greece’s alleged behavior and will likely decide whether or not to fire her after Monday’s Columbus Day holiday.

Rubio, 55, was particularly upset, the official told the AP, because Guilfoyle attended most, if not all, of his events in Athens during his visit last week.

Even as the allegations around her swirled, she had greeted Rubio with a bear hug, according to the outlet.

A series of reports from The Wall Street Journal have highlighted several examples of alleged misconduct by the MAGA figure, who was formerly engaged to Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.

The 57-year-old has allegedly abused her power as a diplomat, living a lavish lifestyle, demanding comped meals, and using her “Trump card” to intimidate embassy staff who question her behavior.

The former Fox News Channel host had also allegedly threatened guests at a dinner event in March that the U.S. could undermine the Greek government if it wanted to.

Perhaps most pressing, however, was the allegation that Guilfoyle demanded MAGA donor Eric Deters pay off her $100,000 credit card bill in exchange for her influence within the Trump administration.

The State Department has opened a probe into Guilfoyle’s behavior, with sources telling the Daily Mail that the department’s Office of Inspector General is now investigating her “potential substance abuse, use of private planes and helicopters, close relationship with an energy and construction company, improper gift acceptance, and more.” Rubio initially dismissed reports of Guilfoyle’s alleged misconduct, but by the time he left Athens late last week, the secretary of state appeared to lose patience as they continued to pile up.

“You guys walk around thinking that because some source told you something and you reported it, it’s the gospel.

It’s not the gospel.

It’s not the gospel for me.

That’s not the way we do things,” Rubio said before he boarded his flight, according to the AP.
