"But it's September!" the naysayers cry.

To that, I have three replies: the first official day of fall isn't until Sept.

Ninja's frozen drink maker isn't just casually $20 off — it's down $120 in price as a Best Buy Deal of the Day, bringing the price from $349.99 to $229.99.

At the lowest we've seen it, it's hit $199.99 at Amazon (at the time of writing, however, it's at $299.95 ).

Former Mashable reporter Leah Stodart put the Slushi through the frozen drink ringer – testing everything from slushed cola to frozen coffees and protein shakes.

The few downsides: diet soda is a no-go (the machine demands a certain amount of sugar for the freezing process to work), the process can be a bit tedious for single serve drinks, and you also have to be careful about balancing alcohol content.
