Season two of "Landman" came to an end on January 18, 2026.

There had been some hope that maybe season three would premiere this year.

That's not going to happen.

Star James Jordan addressed the status earlier in August with comments that flew under the radar until ScreenRant made them go viral this week.

"I believe we’re bringing back the same director, Stephen Kay, who I adore.

So it’s going to be a great ride.

We start that sometime in September and we’ll shoot that through the first quarter of next year," Jordan told Us Weekly .
