Taylor Sheridan's epic "Sicario" saga is set to return with a third film.
"Sicario" is an unbelievably dark and gritty thriller focused on the drug cartels that took the entertainment world by storm in 2015.
A sequel – "Sicario: Day of the Soldado" – was released in 2018 with Josh Brolin and Benicio del Toro reprising their roles.

Brolin, who plays CIA operative Matt Graver, recently spoke with ScreenRant , and revealed that a third film "is happening" with production getting underway "soon." "Lioness" star Thad Luckinbill, a producer on the original two films hinted to Entertainment Weekly that it's a very real possibility, but he kept his cards a bit closer to his chest.
"We’re hoping to do it, so fingers crossed.
It would be great to get to do another one for the fans.
And, honestly, for me, too.
Like, I’m a fan of it.
Even though I produced it, I wanna see it," Luckinbill told the outlet .
