If you watched the Gamescom 2026 announcements, you might have caught a trailer for the bizarre, frenetic Pony Island 2: Panda Circus , a game from Daniel Mullins. In case you haven’t heard of him, get a crash course with a fantastic discount on Inscryption . Humble is currently selling Steam versions of the secret-packed deckbuilder for $7.99, a sizable discount from its usual price of $20. It’s compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux machines.
The game starts out as a fairly straightforward deckbuilding roguelike game with a dark atmosphere. Stick with it, and it’ll evolve, defying genres, breaking the fourth wall, and leading you through a twisted story with plenty of surprises. Part of the fun is discovering those twists yourself, so I won’t say anything else. It’s one of my personal favorite games, and it’s best to go in knowing as little as possible. Thankfully, taking the leap isn’t expensive at all.
