Randy Quaid blasts Anne Hathaway ‘Days of Thunder’ casting, says sequel needs ‘sex appeal’

Randy Quaid questioned Anne Hathaway's casting in the upcoming "Days of Thunder" sequel Tom Cruise announced over the weekend.

Quaid, who starred alongside Cruise in the original '90s flick, claimed Hathaway was a "leftist, woke, horrible choice" to replace Nicole Kidman in part two of the NASCAR-themed film.

"Tony Scott, whose style I loved — I also loved working with him — would never cast Anne in a million years," Quaid said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

The "Kingpin" actor first aired his grievances over the "Days of Thunder" news on social media.
