I Love This Red Analogue Pocket, but Hate the Supreme Logo

How many more years must we suffer through the torment of limited edition Analogue retro recreations? Its latest special colorways for the Analogue Pocket are particularly pretty, especially a brilliant candy apple red, but they will require you to suffer the obnoxiously trendy “Supreme” logo every time you plug in a new cartridge.

The now five-year-old Analogue Pocket is built to play your favorite Game Boy games in their original cartridges thanks to its custom FPGA (field-programmable gate array) emulation chip. Nothing’s changed with this “Supreme” version . The handheld is essentially Analogue’s past all-aluminum unibody edition, which the company sold for $500 back in 2024. Supreme, the notorious streetwear brand known for sticking its logo anywhere it doesn’t belong.

While Analogue isn’t offering many details, Supreme claims its gold version is plated with 24K gold. Neither the retro handheld maker nor Supreme has shared any pricing details. We also don’t know when it will hit the scene, even though the device is part of Supreme’s fall/winter collection. Analogue can now claim to sit in the hallowed halls of dog collars, bedazzled license plates, and paintball guns, all with a “Supreme” logo.

Gizmodo reached out to Analogue for clarification on if the emulation handheld will be available through its website. If it ends up being like all past limited edition Analogue releases, the Game Boys won’t be available. Expect bots to claim them before you can even load the product page. The company’s special-edition colorways for the Analogue 3D Nintendo 64 FGPA console went out of stock in the blink of an eye. The only available colors for both the Pocket and Analogue 3D are the back-to-basics black and white models.

The combination of Analogue and Supreme guarantees these special colorways won’t be around for very long.
