SNL UK mocks King Charles and Ed Sheeran in AI-themed sketch

King Charles, an AI version of Princess Diana, and Ed Sheeran are the unusual combination brought together in SNL UK 's latest cold open, during which a D.I.A.N.A AI-bot goes rogue and the king is forced to beg for Sheeran's help as the apocalypse nears.

"I couldn't help but overhear your conversation.

Elsewhere, the singer was also roasted in the show's "Weekend Update" segment .
