2 overall pick in the draft this past spring and she quickly turned into a rising star on the floor.

On Sunday, in the Lynx’s 101-89 victory over the Connecticut Sun, Miles set the rookie scoring mark once held by Caitlin Clark.

Miles scored 21 points to eclipse the Indiana Fever star’s mark initially set in 2024.

"It’s special, but it means we’re more so working well as a team.

I have great teammates around me, great vets who allow me to be me out there," Miles said after the game.

"It wouldn’t be possible without one, a coach that believes in you and then two, having teammates that have my back.

So it’s really special to obviously be able to accomplish that with such a great team and on a win as well." Miles has 790 points this season in 40 games.

Though the WNBA expanded the schedule going into 2026, Miles and Clark both set the marks in 40 games.
