Fox News Names Emily Compagno As New Co-Host of ‘The Five’

Emily Compagno has been named a full-time co-host on Fox News Channel’s The Five .

Compagno, who has been the co-host of Outnumbered since 2021, joins The Five starting Sept. 8, alongside co-hosts Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino, Jesse Watters and Harold Ford Jr. and Jessica Tarlov, who rotate in the liberal co-host chair. In joining the program, Compagno will step down from her role on Outnumbered , which a panel show which features four women and one male, and a rotating Fox News personality will fill the seat until a full-time co-host is named.

Compagno first joined Fox News as a contributor in 2018. Prior to joining the network, Compagno practiced law in criminal defense and civil litigation and later served as a federal managing attorney and acting director at the Social Security Administration.

The Five typically ranks as the most-watched cable news program. The show, which has been on air for 15 years, uses a roundtable format in which the panel debates politics, pop culture and other current events.
