305 Records.

The new partnership between the singer — who was born and raised in Miami to Puerto Rican and Cuban parents — and the label, which has deep ties to the city, brings together two entities whose identities are rooted in Miami’s culture.

The deal arrives alongside the release of Angeliq’s new single, “A La Que Fui,” in which she reflects on the experiences, relationships and decisions that shaped her.

“A La Que Fui” follows a string of milestones for Angeliq, whose 2019 breakout reggaeton hit “Perreito” was certified two-times platinum by the RIAA and peaked at No.

21 on Billboard ’s Hot Latin Songs chart.

One of the most prominent songs in her catalog is “EL MAKINON,” on which she collaborated with Karol G.

With “A La Que Fui,” Angeliq reflects on the new opportunities that come with letting go of what no longer serves you.

“‘A La Que Fui’ is a reminder that there’s always an opportunity to start over.

I had to say goodbye to many things to find a kind of peace I had never known before,” said Angeliq in a statement.
