The SEC is often regarded as the best conference in college football, and this year we see quite a few teams in the conference ranked nationally.

Georgia comes in ranked second in the nation, and Alabama comes in ranked sixth.

If Georgia wins, the Bulldogs likely stay put (unless Texas loses as well).

However, a win for Alabama will put the Tide in the top 5.

Georgia is 5-0 and has gone 3-0 in SEC contests to start the year.

The Bulldogs blew out Tennessee State in the opener, winning by 60.

Week 2 saw them take down Western Kentucky and win by 50.

Week 3 marked their SEC opener.

Since then, they’ve beaten Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt in three straight weeks.

Alabama is looking to put a statement win out there.

The last time the teams met was the SEC Championship last season, and Georgia blew out the Crimson Tide.

This season has started well for Alabama with five straight wins and three straight over SEC competition, including a ranked Mississippi State team last week.
