Chris Pratt’s Famous Ex Reveals Clash With Their ‘Right-Wing’ Son

Danny Moloshok/Reuters Anna Faris revealed that her 14-year-old son possesses some more “right-wing” beliefs and is far more religious than she is.

The Scary Movie star opened up about parenting in an appearance on Chelsea Handler’s podcast .

Faris, 49, shares a son with her ex-husband Chris Pratt , 47, who is now married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, 36.

Speaking about her son, Faris told Handler, “I think my son is, he’s like as solid as a tugboat emotionally.

He just doesn’t get easily jarred.

He handles situations really well.” She added that he is “religious” while she “didn’t grow up with religion.” “He’s asked me to accept Jesus Christ,” she revealed.

Faris said that while they may sit on different ends of an ideological spectrum, they can have conversations in which she can “challenge” his beliefs.

“I told him that I would do anything for him, including this, but it’s going to take a whole lot of long conversations.

And he’s impressive, actually.

He’s impressive because I tried to challenge him,” continued Faris.

“I’m like, do you think it’s a luxury that you get to be pro-life? Do you think that’s kind of a luxury? He’s like, ‘Maybe.’ Or I’ll say, ‘So what do you think of this mega pastor that’s kind of a grifter? What do you think?’ He’s like, ‘Oh, mega pastors are the worst.’” “So it’s like, OK... we’re getting there,” Faris added.

“I mean, I’m appreciative that he’s examining religion the way he is in terms of recognizing hypocrisy, starting to recognize hypocrisy.

And I’m appreciative that we can have these long conversations.” Faris, who is next appearing in the ensemble comedy Spa Weekend , is now married to her third husband, cinematographer Michael Barrett.

The couple began dating in 2017 and were married in 2021.
