Another day, another streaming price bump. Just over a week after Peacock implemented its fourth price hike in four years, Apple TV is following suit with increases on its monthly plan, annual plan and Apple One bundle. The good news? Unlike other popular services (looking at you, Hulu ), its seven-day free trial is still in effect.

As of Aug. 28. 2026, the monthly rate for an Apple TV subscription is $14.99 (up from $12.99) and the annual rate is $119.99 (up from $99). This follows the Aug. 2025 increase that upped the monthly price from $9.99. Like Peacock, Apple’s most recent hike marks the fourth time the company has raised the price of its streaming platform within four years. But beyond Apple TV ‘s free trial period , there are a handful of lesser-known ways to save big through streaming bundles and retail partners (i.e. Peacock , T-Mobile and Verizon ). Plus, customers can snag an extended three month free trial when purchasing a new Apple device . Full breakdown of each cost-cutting option below.

Apple TV : Claim your seven-day free trial directly through Apple TV . Unless cancelled, subscriptions will renew at the standard rate following one week.

Prime Video : Alternatively, claim the same seven-day free trial through Prime Video’s Apple TV add-on .

Apple device purchase : Get three months free when you buy a new device (and redeem the offer within 90 days).
