Luke Bryan threatens to 'knock the s--- out of' online trolls trashing his new song

Luke Bryan has a bone to pick with his haters.

During an appearance on the "This Past Weekend with Theo Von" podcast, the "American Idol" judge and country star opened up about the backlash surrounding his latest song, "Fish Hunt Golf Drink," which some social media users accused of being created with artificial intelligence.

Bryan said the controversy began with a "narrative" that was created and amplified online.

"They started a narrative that we AI-ed it.

And now whether you like the song or not, or whether you like me as an artist , whether you like what I'm about or whatever … now I'm the guy that somebody said that I AI-ed a song and wrote it." He complained, "You get one or two kids with a bunch of Instagram, a bunch of followers, that say we AI-ed it, and then the whole world goes on their narrative." LIKE WHAT YOU'RE READING? CLICK HERE FOR MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS Von argued that he doesn't think people actually believe he used AI to create the song, but Bryan said that the backlash has been "pretty crazy," and he recalled seeing posts from people who told him they hated him.

"And they’re like at a camera going, ‘I hate you.’ … And I’m like, ‘I can see your face.

If I see you one day, I’m going to f---ing knock the s--- out of you, dude,’" he said.

However, Bryan acknowledged that many of the online comments were coming from teenagers.

I’m not sure I’m happy about a bunch of teenagers telling a 50-year-old man he’s a piece of s--- songwriter," he said.

"And then I’m like, ‘Dude, you’re 16.

You’re talking to a grown man who’s made a s--- ton of money doing this.'" "It’s just so far out there," he added.

"I’m like, if I caught my kids doing some stuff like that, I would kill them." Earlier this year, Bryan addressed the AI accusations shortly after the song's release.
