A Timeline of KATSEYE’s Lineup, From Forming on ‘Dream Academy’ to Hiatuses After the 20-year-old star sprained her ankle during rehearsal, the girl group announced on Thursday (Aug.

27) that it would no longer be a part of Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural charity festival.

Shortly afterward, Megan shared a message on her individual Instagram Story that followed similar wording to KATSEYE’s band statement, but in first person.

“Yesterday I sprained my ankle during tour rehearsal and my doctors have advised me to stay off it and let it heal so I can be ready for tour,” she wrote.

“I’m heartbroken to miss Daisy Chain Fields, especially because of everything this festival stands for.

I’m sending all my love to Olivia and to all of the incredible artists, non-profit organizations and volunteers who have given their time to make this day so special.” She added, “It’s going to be such an amazing day, and I can’t wait to see everyone out on tour.” KATSEYE had originally been scheduled to perform at Daisy Chain Fields on Saturday (Aug.

29) as part of an all-women lineup featuring Chappell Roan, Doechii, The Breeders, Mitski, Garbage and more, as well as headliner Rodrigo with special guests Stevie Nicks, Karen O and Sarah McLachlan.

All proceeds from the festival will go toward organizations that champion women and girls, including Planned Parenthood and the Center for Reproductive Rights.

After KATSEYE dropped out, Daisy Chain Fields shared an updated lineup on Instagram with the announcement that Devon Again would sub in for the girl group.

“KATSEYE I LOVE U MEGAN I HOPE YOU HEAL BEAUTIFULLY DAISY CHAIN I PROMISE TO SING MY HEART OUT FOR U,” Devon wrote in the comments.

It’s been a bumpy year for KATSEYE, which is currently down to four active members as Manon and Sophia remain on hiatus.

The former went on break in February to focus on her wellness, while the latter announced earlier in August that she would be taking a step back from the band to focus on her mental health.

That didn’t stop KATSEYE, however, from dominating the Billboard 200 with new EP WILD .
