It's not an earth-shattering discount, but saving $49 is still better than paying full price.

That said, if you can hold out until October's Prime Day event, you might be able to snag it closer to $274 (the lowest price we've ever seen, last hit around December of last year).

Again, this is a budget iPad, so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the higher-end models, but it'll still do everything you need it to — streaming, casual gaming, reading, or scrolling in bed.

You can also use it as a makeshift laptop; you'll just have to buy the Magic Keyboard Folio (which, conveniently, is also on sale for $175 right now).
