LL Cool J, SWV, Lil’ Kim, Method Man & Redman to Headline Thanksgiving Edition of Rock the Bells

LL Cool J will join fellow legends SWV, Lil’ Kim and Method Man & Redman when the Rock the Bells Festival returns to the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., on Thanksgiving weekend (Nov.

29).

Closing out Hip-Hop History Month, the “Home for the Holidays”-themed celebration is being produced by Rock the Bells and the Black Promoters Collective.

The festival will also present a set curated by D-Nice featuring LeToya Luckett, David Banner and The LOX (Jadakiss, Styles P and Sheek Louch), among other performers.

More artists and special surprises will be announced soon.

“Hip-hop has shaped the world for more than five decades, and Rock the Bells exists to honor the people who made that history and keep the culture moving upward,” said Rock the Bells founder LL Cool J in the press announcement.

“There’s something special about seeing artists and fans from different generations come together under one roof.

Bringing that energy back to Newark over Thanksgiving weekend feels right.
