Little Big Town Recalls the ‘Unforgettable’ Experience of Attending Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Wedding

The hype around Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding isn’t over yet.

Little Big Town is sharing details about their experience celebrating the big wedding, including how the group and a handful of their country music friends found out they would all be attending.

Fairchild and Schlapman had nothing but praise for the newlyweds, with Fairchild saying it was clear how happy the pair was together.

“All we can say is that they seem madly in love and very happy, and it was a joy.

It was a joy to watch,” Fairchild said, while Schlapman described the occasion as “unforgettable.” But because guests were asked to keep their invitations under wraps, Little Big Town initially had no idea which of their friends might also be heading to New York City for the celebration held at Madison Square Garden.

Fairchild recalled eventually testing the waters during a conversation with Miranda Lambert , during which she casually brought up the date of the wedding and not mentioning the wedding itself.

Lambert apparently turned the question back around.

“One night, I was at Miranda’s, and I, everyone had left, and I go, ‘So, what are you doing around, like, July 3?’ And she goes, ‘What are you doing July 3?'” Fairchild said.

“She goes, ‘Are we doing the same thing on July 3?’ So, that’s how that happened.” Once they realized several friends were on the guest list, the country stars decided to make the trip together.

Little Big Town traveled alongside their spouses and fellow artists, including Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin, Kelsea Ballerini , Kristian Bush and Maren Morris .

The group also made the journey memorable before they even arrived, singing along to Swift’s “Love Story” during the ride.

And the fun continued at the reception.

Fairchild said Little Big Town’s members eventually abandoned their footwear and hit the dance floor barefoot.
