She posted a short video on social media telling her followers, "Please listen to the Black community.
Black people don’t hang themselves from trees.
There’s been at least seven Black people found hanging from trees." Ms.

Raleigh Police Chief Rico Boyce explained during a news conference Monday that a young man with a history of mental health issues was captured on video walking toward a tree carrying an electrical cord, and nobody else was in the area.
"Based upon the evidence collected and reviewed to date, investigators have found no evidence indicating that another person caused or contributed to the young man’s death, and no evidence of a criminal act has been identified.
Our investigation confirms that this is a suicide," Boyce said.
Boyce also said the young man’s mother said he "struggled with mental health issues in his past," and many social media posts about the incident are inaccurate.
