Rep.
Max Miller’s girlfriend of two years has been indicted on a grand theft charge after prosecutors allege she spent $9,000 on Instacart using her ex-husband’s credit card without permission, a bombshell new report by Mother Jones has revealed.
Jaclyn Alatrash was first accused of racking up the massive Instacart bill in May.
Now, Mother Jones has revealed how she allegedly spent so heavily on the platform—including $50.99 at Spirit Halloween, $107.31 at Ulta Beauty, $152.08 at the Vitamin Shop, and $207.81 at Costco, among others.
The magazine reports that the 33-year-old has now been charged with telecommunications fraud and credit card misuse in addition to grand theft.
Her ex-husband, Matthew Kampert, told Mother Jones that Alatrash was not an authorized user on his credit card while they were legally married, let alone while divorced.
Kampert told police his credit card was illegally used from September 2025 to January.
That makes it seven months after his and Alatrash’s marriage was legally ended in February 2025.
That marks only the latest headache for Miller, 37, who is in the homestretch of a re-election campaign already marred by scandal.
In addition to being accused of abusing his ex-wife, he is also being sued by his former spouse after he released a naked photo of their 2-year-old as he defended himself against domestic abuse claims.
Emily Moreno, the daughter of Ohio Sen.
Bernie Moreno, filed the lawsuit in August.
Her senator dad, also a Republican, has since urged voters to not send his former son-in-law to Washington for a third term.
