Apple TV's 'The Savant' gets spring 2027 release date after postponing following Kirk assassination

Apple TV's "The Savant" has a release date after it was postponed in September 2025, shortly after Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk was killed while speaking at a college campus event that same month.

The show will be released in the spring of 2027, as reported by Deadline and Variety.

A source confirmed the release timing to Fox News Digital .

"The Savant" was set to premiere in September 2025 and followed an undercover investigator, played by Jessica Chastain, as she "infiltrates online hate groups in an effort to stop domestic extremists before they act," according to the show’s synopsis .

However, the show would have premiered two weeks after Kirk was shot and killed in what authorities described as an ideologically motivated attack.
