And one vendor outside the American Airlines Center offered The Swamp three Trump hats for the bargain basement price of $50, or a bejeweled $300 gun-shaped purse, with a MAGA cap thrown in for free.
However, $47 white shirts, featuring a younger, slimmer looking version of Trump dressed like the Marlboro Man on the back wearing a cowboy hat and riding boots while perched on a horse, were quick to sell out at the official RNC merchandise store inside American Airlines Center on Day 1 of Trump-a-palooza.
They can always be turned inside out and used as flags of surrender if the president’s popularity continues to plummet.
The Trump Marlboro Man shirts were the best official selling merchandise at the convention, The Swamp’s Sarah Ewall-Wice was told.
