Four teens kill couple in head-on crash after stealing G-Wagon, leading cops on hourslong chase: police

Four teens allegedly stole a luxury SUV and took it on a joyride before it crashed head-on into another vehicle in New Jersey, killing a beloved grandmother and her longtime partner, authorities said.

Alice Stilwell Holt, 67, and Robert "Bob" Barr Jr., 54, both of Egg Harbor Township, were killed about 7:30 a.m.

22 near Route 50 and Third Street in Mays Landing, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Prosecutors allege that Nayshaun Brown, 18, of Atlantic City, and three juveniles swiped a 2024 Mercedes-Benz G Wagon around 3:40 a.m.

Saturday and took it for a joyride.

Surveillance video captured the crash, showing the black G-Wagon strike the sedan and send the smaller vehicle into a nearby gas station.

The teens walked away from the wreck with few injuries and tried to run, but authorities apprehended them shortly afterward, officials said.

Two of the juveniles remain in custody, while another was released by a Superior Court judge Sunday morning.
