Dolly Parton ’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star was vandalized with multiple scratches, just days after the country music icon was laid to rest.

A fan who visited the star reported the damage on social media .

Based on a photo shared by the fan, the star appeared to have been scratched.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said, "A fan went to the star yesterday and reported on social that the star was vandalized with many scratches.

From the photo she posted, it does appear the star was vandalized with scratches." "The crew just completed the first part of making said repairs," Martinez said.

"The star repairs are currently ongoing and are done by the Hollywood Historic Trust, which maintains and repairs the Walk of Fame stars." The star is expected to be repaired before being polished Friday, when fans will once again be able to visit the landmark to honor the late singer.
