The use of helicopters to deliver seriously wounded soldiers to medical facilities, as seen in video footage provided to Fox News Digital, plays a critical role in preventing death.

The second advance is, according to the IDF medical specialist, "rapid evacuation," which means "We can evacuate casualties to Israeli hospitals rapidly." 5 OF AMERICA'S GREATEST MEDICAL BREAKTHROUGHS REVEALED AS THE NATION MARKS 250 YEARS There has been "an emphasis on the use of blood products since 2013 on stopping bleeding," said the IDF medical specialist.
