Tiger Woods set for plea change hearing after DUI arrest following Florida rollover crash

Five-time Masters champion Tiger Woods is expected to arrive at a Florida court Wednesday for a hearing on a possible plea change in his DUI case, court records show.

The case stems from a rollover crash on Jupiter Island, Florida, in March more than five months ago.

A photo from WPTV at the time showed what was reportedly an SUV registered to Woods lying on its driver’s side.

Authorities found Woods at the crash scene in Martin County, Florida, roughly 40 miles outside West Palm Beach.

An arrest affidavit said Woods did not pass a field sobriety test and had prescription painkillers in his pocket.

In the aftermath of the crash, Woods announced he would take some time away from the public eye and explore personal recovery treatment options.

Woods initially entered not guilty pleas to misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence and refusing to submit to testing.

He also received a citation for careless driving and had been scheduled to make an appearance in court on Sept.

However, a court notice filed Tuesday moved Woods’ appearance up to Wednesday morning.
